FOR THE LOVE OF SPORK, READ YOUR FSKING MANUAL ALREADY, AND THEN MAKE SOME ATTEMPT TO LEARN ABOUT HOW VIDEO WORKS, SO THAT YOU'LL KNOW WHAT THE HELL ABSOLUTEDESTINY'S TRYING TO TELL YOU!

I understand completely all he's saying...what would you like me to interpret for you? His etiquette, maybe??

Well, if you understand everything he's saying, then your responses to him betray your knowledge.

y2kwizard wrote:But my question is that I DID put the settings at No Frames and it STILL didn't export without frames....it seemed to interlace it, as you can see in the picture. I've used AE to encode in Microsoft DV and NO Frames DOES work, so you can't say that DV inherently interlaces the footage. My question is WHY is this happening??

I understand that if I set the settings to "Lower Field First," then my footage WILL be interlaced, but that's not what I'm doing. I AM setting it to No Fields in Premiere and it STILL interlaces them. In AE everything works fine....I'm trying to figure out why that is.

I do thank you for all the time you've spent (wasted??) helping me with this, but I'm still not sure why this all is ocurring. I KNOW that NTSC inherently interlaces but i don't see how DV can be inherently interlaced if when I use the DV codec in AE it DOESN'T interlace my footage.

Moron...as far as I can tell, I don't see ANY scanlines in any of the picutres. So the footage is already de-interlaced, as far as I can tell.

Com'on guys, lets not get all bitchy at this guy here.

Heck I don't know what's going on, I've never used DV so I am not going to comment ;p. It's not obvious to my eyes, but heck I've been up for 24hrs now so I don't know if my brain is working ;)

I guess I don't mean scanlines as much as I mean that weird effect of two pictures being blended together
