 I have a few full movies in DivX, and I was wondering if there is a plugin for Premiere or any other form of way of editing DivX in Premiere?

Thanx for you time,

They are .avi but everytime that I try to open any DivX into Premiere I get an illegal operation.

klinky, u knew about that?
its really an easter egg in the program, u have to type the US constitution for the name of the third video in the bin, which has to be a 30 hour long uncompressed avi. Then u have to burn a cd with nothing but a .txt file saying "boogers" and put it in the cd drive, which u have to rename "Z:\", then hit ctr-alt-delete 3 times and it shows up
o, it also tells u the secret of the universe too. nifty huh 8)

if you really want to use divx clips in premiere (with a wee more bit of stability than your getting now) you may want to try converting the scenes you want to use from divx to Huffyuv using Virtualdub.
(if you don't know what this is try Google)

I know about converting to Huff... I just dont have space for Huff clips on my hardrive, except the exported final product. I am just used to editing with M-JPEG and AVISynth, I only have these movies on DivX.
