Is there any software Program which can copy clips from DVD?

Postby LittleKefalos » Tue Sep 17, 2002 9:50 am

Greetings everyone,

I'm interesting in making anime videos, but I'd rather not use only other people clips, so is there anyway to copy clips from DVD's onto my computer? (my computer has a DVD player and a CDRW burner) Is there a program to do this?

Thanks a lot.

What? It's not the first time he's said it.

That's "REFG" - which is why "RMFG" is humorous.

I was just trying to see if there was a way to do it, Ok, I don't need all the negative commentary. Who know's there's probably someone out there who can do it laughing at all of you, just like you laugh at me. Anyways, at least now I know.

We're not laugning at you, we're laughing at what ErMaC typed. And, if you'd visit his link, you'd see how to do what you want to do.

OK well it just seemed like some of the comments were directed towards me, that's all. I did check out the information though and it seems like a lot of work just to obtain the clips (never mind putting them together and all). So for my first video I just may use other people's clips (I hope this isn't frowned upon

Oh well thanks (like I said before)

It's very frowned upon.

Generally speaking, it's believed that if you won't go through the effort of even trying to do things correctly, you probably shouldn't be making these things in the first place. It's one thing if you aren't able to use anything but downloaded source - it's another if you whine that you're too lazy to try to use anything else.

I want to make a new Science Fiction TV show about star ships and stuff. I think I'll just tape a bunch of Star Trek episodes and use their space scenes instead of making my own.

Gee, I hope they won't mind.
