Take your clip of the guy punching someone.

Crtl-C(copy) the clip.
Paste it in front of the original.
Change the speed to -200%.
Copy the original again.
Paste it after the reversed clip.
Change the speed to %50(or slower depending on how slow the reply needs to be).
Right click Video Options|Field Options.
Uncheck "De-interlace when speed below %100)"
You may also want to reverse field order on the reversed clip if you plan on exporting to tape.

Oh if you want to get a freeze before the rewind. You can File|Export Timeline|Frame on the last frame of the original clip. Save that frame as a bitmap then drag it back down to the timeline. Insert it between the original and the reversed clip. Adjust the length for however long you want the freeze to last.

I think the "File|Export Timeline|Frame" method can make it look kinda wierd when played at full screen (well at least i have that problem). I usually cut the frame i want and copy and paste a lot of times. i think it works better.

Well it exports the frame with whatever effects you have on it at the time. So if it's some strange effect it may look bad as a still :\

I've had no problems with using the Export Timeline| Frame method ;)

To each his own I guess...
