TMPGEnc error message

Postby Aneino_Kaijin » Wed Sep 04, 2002 5:58 pm

When I try to export through Avisynth from Premiere, TMPEnc's screen gives me the following error:

"Script Error: There is no function named IPCSource."

My computer semi-literate brain tells me I missed downloading something, though that could be totally off. Anyone know what might cause this error?
Always looking for the next bad idea.

You might want to try getting the latest Premiere Frameserver from www.videotools.net

Alternatively, just export with HuffYUV - if you are diong more than one encode it will be quicker in the long run and good for backups.

The AVISynth premiere export plugin has not worked since AVISynth 0.3. Edwin made a different AVISynth export plugin which was kinda weird, but now there's a specific frameserver program which gives you an AVI file to read from so just use that.

However, if you're doing 2-pass encoding of any kind, just export huffyuv.
