1. Wrong Forum.

2. You obviously haven't looked through the guides.

3. You would be well advised to read those guides before posting again with questions such as the above. Sentiment here is that the guides are there to answer such questions, and newcomers who come and ask them, obviously without even glancing at the guides, will be shown the door.

4. Read the guides again, then come back to the forums to lurk and listen before posting.

I'm in a pissy mood today, so don't read the following statement if you are easily offended.

----------

I have to say, that was totally rude. She/he was only asking a question. All you had to say was "Go read up on the guides, it's in there, k?", not "You *obviously* haven't read the guides...blah..blah shown the door."

yeah, the guides are really hard to get to! It's also really tough to post in the right forum... I mean the mouse just seems to stick here.

I agree! What's the world coming to when people can't look around at all before posting?

Cali, I understand; I'm in a bit of a funk as well so I probably wouldn't have bared my teeth otherwise.

However, what I wrote was more of a warning than a slam--how many folks are going to jump all over the newbie in a way worse than mine? Probably more'n a few.

And if by what I wrote, I make at least one doe-eyed n00b actually find the guides and read them, and hold off from posting that first doofus post on these forums, I've accomplished my task.

...aaaaaah, who'mI kiddin'?

Unlike everybody else, I'll actually suggest something.

Here is something that you might want to consider.

Oh christ, now linux fags can get bigger swelled up heads because they have a video editing prog. WTF is this world coming to. Can't we all just surrender to Microsoft's iron fist? Conformity is fun

What I find intersting is that all of the people find this site, sign up for the membership. Retrieve their passwords, come back, sign in. Then go to the forum and post and yet have no idea of what they are doing. I mean I was and still am a newbie, but I knew about premiere and video editing long before I got into AMV's.

I just think its funny how people can miss everything. I mean whats Phade gonna do, increase the font size of the GUIDES section on the member page till its so annoyingly large that you can't help but click on it. Or better yet have all links redirect on newbies accounts to the guides until they have read them before the rest of the site is reachable.
