Having A Problem With VirtualDub

Post by Inuyasha666 » Thu Dec 04, 2003 3:11 am

Ok, I'm at the final step of encoding my AMV and then I'm finished. But when I try to encode it it begins to encode, stops, then brings up this message...

Video Compression Error: An unknown error occured(may be corrupt data).

(Error Code -100)

What does this mean, and what should I do?

What codec are you using to compress?

If you're using xvid, what settings are you using? I've had that particular error - is it stopping at the same point each time? The same frame? Or does it vary on the same file?
