slow motion and speed

Post by AznRAVEr1022 » Sun Jul 06, 2003 9:46 pm

hey, in adobe premiere, whenever i set a clip to a certain speed, let's say 70%, the clip sometimes shakes or juss looks choppy. is there any professional way to set a clip in slow motion or is this how everyone does it.

that happens sometimes. You might try and slow it down manually. Cut every frame of the video, and then do a copy/paste, and have every frame play twice, or only certain frames again. I actually prefer this method. It takes a lot of time, but it's great for getting the video to sync just perfectly.

Right click on the clip you want to slow down and go to video options. Field option and unclick the option "deinterlace when speed under 100%" That should fix the problem. I've only had it not help in one time.
