When playing DVDs on my computer, it always seems like the output sound is like as silent as a CD rip. Then when I play it on my DVD player in the living room, I have to actually lower the volume because it's too loud.
I don't really mind changing the volume, but when I forget to lower the voume on my computer I get a blast of sound from Winamp or Media Player when I go to listen or watch something else.
So is there a way that I can make the sound on the DVD somewhat louder without changing the volume on my audio devices? (I'm using Intervideo WinDVD to play DVDs on my compute.) Also, when playing on TV is there a way to do the opposite, which is making the volume lower?
Thanks.
