More Logo Help

Postby quistisffviii » Thu Aug 01, 2002 5:40 am

Quite awhile ago, I wanted to make logos using virtual dub. I use virtual dub because I'm broke. Someone provided me a link to this interesting filter, Logo 1.3 Beta 4. It works well on black screens but, when I put it on something with multi colors, it fades it. It did this to my released Angel music video and to a couple of music videos I haven't released. I've tried to make it not faded, but then the logo doesn't show. Now, I'm about to attempt to make a video and possibly send it to a convention and I'd like to not have the faded colors when a logo shows up. Can anybody help out with another filter or help filter the filter ^^;;? A bold subtitle program might also work for what I'm attempting to do.

Thanks

Most conventions don't let you have individual logos or things like that anyway, so there's not much point.

As for logo filters... hmm, I'm not really sure but I'm sure Donal Graft's virtualdub plugin site would link to them if they existed.

That's not exactly what I had in mind. I should stop saying the word logo. What I'm trying to do is similar to what I did in the middle of my Angel music video. You know how TV shows have the opening credits... a name is on the bottom of some video images of that person as that character. That's what I'm trying to do. I want it to say the name of the character at the bottom of the screen.
David Boreanaz (Angel) is Squall (Final Fantasy VIII) in Kingdom Hearts! David is Squall! Woohoo! The only thing better would be a vocal FFVIII with James Marsters (Spike on Buffy) as Seifer.

Also can I know where you got that profile pic? It looks likes it's of Sana from Kodomo No Omocha. I think it's pretty cool.
