552 x 56??

Postby Mr Pilkington » Wed Jul 24, 2002 4:28 pm

Yes yes, Your old pal Mr. Pilkington has yet another problem. I need to get my VOBs opened up in Premiere so I followed ErMaC's guide, I have double and triple checked myself to make sure I have all the programs and all my files proper, but when I open the .avs I'm still just stick with a ten second strip of black nothingness with a resolution of 552 x 56. As you can see this isn't fitting to well onto my project. especially considering it's a 720x480. I'm desperate for help.

If you open it in media player you'll see that it's actually an error message telling you that your avisynth script isn't working.

I take it that means my code is incorrect.

LoadPlugin("C:\WINNT\system32\MPEG2DEC.dll")
MPEG2Source("C:\Video\Mononoke_Hime.d2v")

Media Player telling me that line 2 is the problem but I just don't see it. Please help me.

The problem is the actual d2v file itself, not the script. In DVD2AVI, open your d2v file project and change the color space to YUV. (Under Video>Color Space>YUV 4:2:2)

This should fix the whole problem^_^

Actually I got it figured out, when I downloaded DVD2AVI.zip The VFAPI.bat file was missing.
