EBwiz wrote:Ok, so here's the story... I've been wanting to do Anime music videos for a while, just never knew much about how or what to use and all that, and for the longest time I was trying to get a new Windows to use the Windows Movie Maker. (Hey, let me finish before you flame me! Thanks.) Anyway, I learned it wasn't all that great from people on this site, but I did eventually get Windows XP... and I was surprised at how easy the program was to use. First time even using it, I finished my first Anime music video, which all in all, came out pretty awesome despite the diminished video and sound quality... the problem was, that the thing skips so much it's nearly inworkable, I don't know how my first one came out as good as it did. At first, I thought it was my processor, as a friend of mine said. (As far as equipment goes, I'm very much lacking. I'm using a 500 MHz K6-2, 2 10 Gig hard drives and 196 MB RAM) so I've been working on equipment before making any new videos. However, I later learned from my friend who also makes AMVs with Windows Movie Maker, that it wasn't my processor. It was in fact the XP version. It does the same thing it's doing on mine and he has a 1.7 GHz Pentium 4 with 256 MB RAM. So, evidently screwed, I got a copy of Abode Premiere, and... I'm completely lost with the program as to be expected. What I need from someone, anyone, is to point me out to a good tutorial of the program because the help file is no help. If anyone knows where I can get one, it'd be very much appreciated.

Dude, you can get it a lot cheaper than that. legitly too. If you can purchase software through a school/college you can get a nice student discount. And if you find a used one you can get it even cheaper.
A friend of mine got premiere 6.0 at his college's book store used. He got it (a legit version i remind you) for only $200.
Now that ain't bad
