My CPU Is Pentium Dual Core or Pentium D What Hard Disk Should I Use SATA Or IDE Hard Disk? I'm having problem with the hard disk my CPU is Pentium Dual Core or Pentium D What Hard Disk Should I Use Is It SATA Hard Disk Or IDE Hard Disk?

My guess is you'll need an IDE hard drive, but you'll need to open up the computer case and look at the motherboard to be sure (The cpu alone doesn't tell you if you need IDE or SATA).

Before we get too much further, what exactly is the problem you're having with your current HDD?

If your hard drive is IDE, it will have a cable like this: http://www.gshop.com.au/images/ide_133_cable.jpg
If your hard drive is SATA, it will have a cable like this: http://www.rtech.ie/itbits.ie/images/satacable.jpg
