Dual-Monitor Options - WinXP

Hey, ErMaC. I have a question for you [or anybody else who uses two or more monitors]

When you put two monitors on your system, (Ex. one on VGA connector, one on the DVI-I with a DVI-I -> VGA converter) how does the Display Options take control of that? Like, does it give you seperate settings for each monitor, or what?

In XP, yes it's like you have two separate video card controls, like so:

Notice teh boxes down at the bottom. Initially your #2 monitor will be greyed out, but you click on it and checkmark the "Extend desktop onto this monitor" and you can then move them around and adjust their display properties and such.

He has a Radeon 9000 Pro, and I'm getting a Sis315 128MB dual-monitor AGP card soon. Big upgrade from some crappy 32MB single monitor TNT2.

i'm looking into getting the new tripple head matrox card at some point. I allready run two monitors with the matrox g400 and and tv output from my rt2500 realtime card. Its sweet. I would suggest dual monitors to anyone who can afford it. Although once you go in that direction, you never come back.
