Ok, I have a huge problem.
Context: I have two partitions: one running Windows Pro x64 and another running Windows XP Home (32-bit). The former is used for everything from iTunes to After Effects, while the latter is used solely for programs that can only be run on 32-bit platforms like many games.
The Problem: Recently, I used System Repair Mechanic to speed up my computer and fix my x64 registry. This ended up making it so that upon booting the x64 partition, it would freeze on the logo screen. There was no way to get into that OS... So then i put in my x64 CD and tried the ol' repair process and upon reinstalling the crucial files, it froze and I was forced to power down. From that moment on, not only does the OS just show a black screen, but now when my x64 CD searches for "previous installations," it freezes and doesn't recognize any installation.
WTF am I supposed to do? I've tried rewriting my mbr with FDISK and I've tried rebuilding bootcfg with the recovery console. I have no backup disks, so what am I supposed to do? PLEASE HELP ME!
