Something wrong with movie maker

Postby Flyingdoggurl » Sat Nov 26, 2005 2:32 pm

I don't post on forums much...but I guess I have to resort to this. I never posted here before so if this is the wrong place to put it, sorry.

I've been having a problem with my windows movie maker lately. I'm trying to make a Advent children amv. All is going well until at a certain time it would have that error message saying blah blah blah "needs to be shut down send error report" and all that. When I looked at the source of the error, I found it, and deleted it. When I tried again, the same thing happens. The thing I deleted is still there.

It could be a trojan, virus or whatever...but I scanned it so many times with trendmicro and spybot that I got nothing.

Restarting does not help either.

I would try to email the movie project to myself, uninstall movie maker, and the install it again...but I thought there would be a solution before I do that. Is there?

And... http://img434.imageshack.us/img434/1828/jhjhjh5vy.jpg

If ANYONE knows, please tell me...I only got 40 seconds left to add in this thing. For once, an amv that I'm kinda proud of so...please?

are you using divx or xvid?
these codecs are known to cause trouble with most editing programs.
if you downloaded amvapp, ffd show can cause wmm to close (I don't know what to do to fix this, I just remeber reading it before)
