DVD Decrypter (Device Not Ready)

Postby CrescentBunny » Mon Nov 21, 2005 5:54 pm

Okay so I downloaded my ASPI layers thing and I checked for them afterwards, and it says everything is fully loaded and functioning. I also downloaded DVD Decryter and loaded in an anime DVD into my DVD-RW drive. When I opened DVD Decrypter I put it into IFO mode and in the log it reads:
Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...
Found 1 CD-RW and 1 DVD-RW!

But in my source pull down box it only lists
[1:1:0]_NEC DVD+-RW ND-3450(E:)
as a source. Nothing comes up in the input boxes, and at the bottom of the DVD Decryter window it says:
Device Not Ready(Medium Not Present)

I really need help ;_;

what region is your dvd?
you may be trying to read a region 2 dvd with a region 1 player
(or the other way around)
I think that dvd decrypter only shows dvd drives (since cd drives can't read dvd's) so that shouldn't worry you.
you might have to click on the "L" right under the device select (this is the load button)
does any of this help?
