Alternate CPU Cooling

Postby Akashio » Sun Jun 19, 2005 5:32 pm

I have alternate CPU cooling (not a fan). Is there any way to let my computer know I don't have a cpu fan so it can stop warning me at bootup and interferring with my overclocking program?

I have a Thermaltake SonicTower cooling system.

That would depend heavily on what is doing the warning. BIOS, OS, some program, etc.

BIOS. It says: Warning! CPU fan failed!

well, what you could do is use a 3 pin case fan plugged into the cpu fan power source
