I assuming you mean things like firewire and camera. Anyway, links are very useful at times like these.

It says it does still much better than video. So, you might want to find something that has higher video capture resolution.

I personally own a Panasonic DV103 and like it very much. I haven't had any problems with it. I would highly recommend it to others.

i recently bought a camcorder like two weeks ago, a panasonic GS120 and the camcorder was just perfect for me
for cheap camcorders i would recommcend the sony HC series, and the canon ZR series accordingly to your budget
i would recommend GS120 if you have around $700 on budget and if u have some extra money then either u get a gs200($1000) or panasonic DV953($1500) for excellent perforamce and video quality

GS200($1500) is a more compact design -6in long 3in wide and the video quality is very good for a ultracompact 3CCD camcorder

DV953 is a bigger model yet comfortable to hold and is one of the best camcorders in performance and video quality

DV3000 if that really has a 1.5 inch LCD as you said, that might be a little small for a camcorder LCD screen size, but the other features look fantastic
if u dont mind the LCD size i would recommend the DV 3000
