Practical Netstream Limits...

Postby iserlohn » Fri Mar 05, 2004 7:13 pm

As con season approaches and videos get finished, I was wondering what the practical, actual bitrate limitations of the Netstream line of video output card is. I know that the spec sheet says 10,8Mbit/sec combined (DVD limit), but I've also talked to people who say that it can do more if you've got a solid computer. I ask, as the bitrates provided in the Otakon rules aren't high enough to support a number of the scenes in my submission, and I want to know how much I can push things without making the card barf.

Thanks in advance for the help.
