Cheap or good ...
Hey,
I'm looking for a cheap (yet not utterly crappy in quality) DVD (re)-writer and a digital camera, can anybody help me?

As in, one of the cheaper DVD (re)-writes / digital cameras. I have no prices in my head, I just need a vague idea of what's out there.jbone wrote:Elaborate on "cheap."Vegeta for president wrote:Hey,

You probably don't want a +RW drive, as the -RW drives seem to be the prevalent standard.

+RW & -RW are different ways of doing the same thing, and they're competing as a standard.

Thanks for the advice.
The -RW seems to be what I'm aiming for (combatibilty rather than speed). $239 for OEM is still pretty steep (hey I'm a poor student). Better wait a few months until the prizes drop...
