If you mean for your source clips, than anything except rm and qt (but you'll want to use huffyuv if you desire good quality - other formats are *not* good in this program when it comes to editing and the quality will be poor - you can check the guides on how to get your source clips from your dvds). If you mean what can it produce to - wmv and avi (both versions 1.0 and 2.0 have these options, though the avi format in 2.0 doesn't always work).
And this should have gone in 'Software Help' - hardware is more like asking about your monitor or capture card. ^.~
