I just got myself a LCD monitor and I wanna install it as a second monitor. I got my normall monitor pluged on my Geforce2 card (AGP slot) and my LCD monitor plugged on the oldest card in the world: an old tridan card with 1mb of video memory (PCI slot). I got it with a comp I bought in 1996. When I start my computer it detected the tridan card wish I added just for that and a message appeared on my LCD screen saying:
''If you can read this message, windows has successfully initialized this display adapter.
To use this adapter as part of your windows descktop, open the display option in the control pannel and adjust the settings on the settings tab.''
I went to my display settings and I saw that both monitor where detected and both card also,I activated both monitor and checked ,for both monitor, the box that says:''Extand my windows descktop onto this monitor'' but nothing happens, the message above still appears on my LCD and my descktop appears only on my regular monitor.
What's the problem, could it be my graphic card where my LCD is pluged in that is to old?
If not, what can I do to make my dual monitoring work?
