Sound Card trouble

Postby Chaos Angel » Tue Apr 01, 2003 12:19 am

My sound card is frunked up. I tried recording myself with my mic, and it didn't work. It recorded distorted noise. I got a different mic (I had been meaning to anyway), and it did the same thing. When I play MP3s, it records the MP3s, but heavily distorted. Then, when I pause them or turn the player off, it goes back to distorted noise.

I tried restarting, and nothing. Any thoughts?

Have you checked the speakers? Are they ok?

Speakers are fine, it's the line-in recorder that's messed up.

I may just need a new card...
