All of the DBZ videos?! That's great! You could make at least $200 with all that, and then buy a capture card!

thats a self based opinion if i've ever heard one, i certainly dont think DBZ is the best and greatest anime i've seen, akira tops it easily in my head, but the thing is this kid's room is plastered wall to wall with DBZ either his tapes his 100+ DBZ shirts, or wallscrolls, hell his beadspread is DBZ and he has DBZ action figures lining his entertainment stand... obsession? or beyond?

I'd rather waste my room's walls with wallscrolls of evangellion girls or Ray form cowboy bebop, some fine lookin cartoons at least, i told him i'm going to do a kamehameha some day he's been keepin distance from me since. if i try ONCE a DAY i can do it by the time i'm 135 years old,

You know, guys, this is the video hardware help forum - it's a valid question in the right place. How many people have actually read the guides lately? Some are slightly out of date... there is no "What's the Right Capture Card for You?" guide. I think he knows he needs a capture card... perhaps his question could have been better phrased as "What kind of capture card do I need, good sirs?" Maybe he has done the research and would like some honest opinions. Most of the hardware opinions aren't super helpful either - and a lot of the hardware listed is out of date as well. There aren't a hell of a lot of people on this site who deserve to be cocky.

I agree with Nightowl.

This questions has been asked many times, usually it's some random suggestions or flaming.

Thanks AD / ErMaC guides, capturing footage is going the way of the dodo and less and less people are doing it.

Maybe some of the ^_^;; old timers could reccomend just a standard card. I am thinking Pinnacle DC30+ for the cheap end and DV500 for the higher ups. But I am not sure.

I've used a capture card maybe once or twice. I've got a ATI TV Wonder VE which is not my suggest solution for capturing. :\

Hey, back down, big man!

I like DB/Z/GT as well, its just there are many, many MANY better anime series' out there. Like Evangelion. Evangelion kicks ass because its a very deep, philosophical anime. Alot of ppl find that a turnoff, but me? I think its great as it gives me alot to think about.
