Zarx rendering Issues

Post by TheJadeArcAngel » Thu Jul 23, 2009 10:52 pm

:D hello again: Apologies in advance for so many questions, I am simply running into a variety of new things and only know so much about various programs/procedures/etc...

Right now its encoding w/ Zarx

EXAMPLE: My 'test' file is 750.MB and has the following quality

Image

After I put it in Zarx it comes out like this ...

Image

The only guide I have found talking about Zarx says, basically, you can press ENCODE and run it out-of-the-box ...

O.o any ideas/remarks/pointers as to why its coming out like this?!

Lower the quantizer from 22 to 20 and see how it looks. If it's still too bad, lower it to 18. That should do it. :)

Wow, after you encoded it, it changed to a completely different image?

It would help if you posted the same frame :p
I can't really see what the problem is, unless you think the quality is too low. In which case do as mirkosp said.

: ) Lowering from 22 to 18 worked *very* well.
