MeGUI's developers abandoned it half a year ago. ZarxGUI is far more recent. Now please vivisect yourself for using that abomination.

wat? they abandoned it? well I was in jail then and my PC is still in some evidence warehouse. meGUI was the best of the best, I guess I'll just have to develop it myself, once I learn how to program a real program, and not the stupid shit I did in school for 2 years.Mister Hatt wrote:MeGUI's developers abandoned it half a year ago. Re: Zarx264gui 1.31 - April 11, 2010
For some reason, the program has suddenly stopped working for me. I havent made any changes to the settings, so I don't have a clue as to why it always gives me a error message when I click encode. I decided to uninstall my version and download the new versions, but the problem remains.
Every time I click encode, I get a message saying "there is a problem with your input audio". Here is a screen-cap of the message.

Zarx264gui uses avisynth to load the audio, and in this case, it is avisynth that is throwing the error, saying that it can't read the audio.kireblue wrote:For some reason, the program has suddenly stopped working for me. Can you post the avisynth script that is being used, and also tell us what audio codec your audio is encoded with? If you aren't sure, you can use mediainfo to find out.

Make sure that when you exported the audio from your NLE you exported it as 16bit audio and not 24bit... depending on what you're doing with it, 24bit can give issues... and CDs are 16bit anyway.

Oh I see. I uninstalled and reinstalled AviSynth, and everything works now (this includes the version in the AMV app, and the 2 newer versions). And of you still want to know, the script that I used was simply "AVISource("C:\Users\Erik\Desktop\Comp 1.avi").ConvertToYV12()". Oh and, when I used MediaInfo, it said that the audio codec was PCM (Microsoft).Zarxrax wrote: Zarx264gui uses avisynth to load the audio, and in this case, it is avisynth that is throwing the error, saying that it can't read the audio.

Thanks for the help
