This.

Or, if you already have winamp, than you could follow these steps here that tell you how to convert any audio format that winamp can play to wav.

dBPowerAMP Music Converter
wavi (CLI only, requires AviSynth input; most useful when doing batch conversion of video to DVD, etc.)

Gah, forgot WaveWizard. And the linkage:

http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wavi-avi2wav/
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=95265

WaveWizard is useful when needing to resample the frequency of multi-channel Wave files (for instance, from 44.1 kHz 5.1-channel to 48 kHz 5.1 channel) while keeping the proper channel mapping headers so Aften can process them correctly.

Audacity.

Free and does a LOT more than MP3 to WAV.

I use Audio Converter Studio, it's not free, but I'm very pleased with it. I usually have to deal with many formats, and this tool supports a lot of most used audio extentions. Besides, it supports CDDB, and I don't have to type in the file info, it will be automatically downloaded from the internet.

Since this thread seems to be continually necroposted, I shall chime in.

I use iTunes.

I know, how important and totally worth a necropost.

Googled I found lots of programs-converters. So I examined some ones. Here is a good collection of Rippers and Encoders. For my opinion the best programs are AudioConverter Studio and AudioVideoSoft RapidRip. So I bought the first one. And now it satisfied me for 100%.
