Use of avtechbeta and amvapp in a tutorial

Postby kmv » Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:51 pm

In a few weeks I am running a tutorial at a local con on creating song vids, and in the presentation I would like to reference avtechbeta and amvapp.

Specifically, I would like to reference and credit them both and include unedited copies on a handout DVD (which will also site the org as their home and main download source) for the convenience of the attendees.

I am not being paid for the tutorial, there will be no change for the handout DVDs (I am paying for them out of my own pocket) and there will no charge to attend the tutorial itself, although there is an admission charge to get into the con.

I will make the tutorial publicly available after the con - they aren't retaining any rights to it.

So, does anyone mind if reference avtechbeta and amvapp, and include them on the handout DVD? Zarxrax?

Yes, but that doesn't mean that it's public domain. Besides, I thought it would be polite to ask.

Thanks.
