single dvd vol. vs boxes with less dvds

ok i have a question: is ther a differnz between single dvd vol. and dvd boxes with less dvds than overall vol. in terms of quality ?

Well box sets will usually have multiple discs... But yes, the more episodes on a disc, the worse the quality will be.

A single dvd episode usually takes up 1GB of a 4.7GB single-layer DVD
You can put more on if you use dual-layer dvds

assuming that's the case, there should be absolutely no difference in terms of quality between a box set of a series (with reduced disk count) vs the series on single volumes (unless the episodes were re-encoded for some reason)

Thin packs sometimes lack extras such as creditless OPs and EDs.
