Masking frame by frame and importing into Vegas

Postby Chaobunny12 » Sat Aug 30, 2008 5:48 pm

I already know that you can save a video clip as an image sequence with VirtualdubMod, and I think I may use that for masking since I have no bezeir masking tool in my version of Vegas. But once I photoshop all of the images, is there a way to import the set of images into Vegas so that they are each the proper framelength and in the right order?

As far as I know you have to import each image file and then realign them in the proper order in the timeline with each image being one frame long.

Put all of your images into their own folder, name them in a sequence, like, (pic 1,pic2 pic3 ect) and make a seperate folder for them in project media (just for organization sake.) Click import file and go to your image folder. Highlight all the pics with shift+click and import. In vegas, under preferences there should be a menu that let's you set the length of still pictures, set it to 1/24 of a second (assuming 24 FPS) Shift click in the project media to highlight them all again, drag and drop, Voilà.
