360 ftw

Ok... Well I don´t know anything about the user interface of PS3, but I don´t think that you can install programs on PS3 and execute them, but if that´s the case: Well maybe try something like VLC-Player, VLC-Player poratble.

Or: Install Linux on your PS3 and run your mp4s with a player from this operating system. I heard that Linux doesn´t really get a lot hardware power from the PS3 so mp4s might don´t work, because they need quite a lot of cpu and stuff.

Or... type something like "mp4 on PS3" into google. You often get nice search results.

pesky? Well for me: I like to stick with the codec of the future :|

You have to convert your videos, and bauzi the 360 only supports 848x480 h264 as far as I know >_>

Use the PS3 Video 9 and before converting install the CCCP (Codec Pack)
That's the best way to do it, I think >.<
