Hi everyone,
Ive been having trouble with Avisynth and VirtualDub for a few months now and was wondering if anyone has experienced similar errors and how they fixed them.
I am trying to load avisynth scripts into virtualdub so that I can encode them for editing, but i get nothing but errors. Ive tried on and off the past few months and for HOURS at a time - probably over 30hrs just mucking around trying to get it to work, especially the past few weeks and now Im beat. Im so frustrated and annoyed as to how long its taking me because its given me so much time Ive pretty much got the whole story board sorted out, I just cant MAKE the damn thing.
The DVDs are Azumanga Diaoh. I have tried the AMVapp latest version multiple times with fresh d/l and installs. The script is not complex, just
Loadplugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\MPEG2Dec3.dll")
MPEG2Source("D:\A1\A1.d2v")
or
MPEG2Source("D:\A1\A1.d2v")
and I recieve errors of "mpeg2source couldn't open file...." As you can see Ive made the pathways simple as possible to avoid address errors, ive checked it thousands of times.
I have also tried uninstalling AMVapp and D/Ling the latest of DGindex, VD, VDMod, and Avisynth and installed them multiple times and instead get the error of "Virtual Dub has encountered an error and will be shut down". The vista friendly version of 1.7 says "out of bounds Memory error". This is really tough because I cant pinpoint the error, the script is simple.
Like I said, Ive tried AMVapp and the latest software. Its really frustrating because Ive been ready to start this project for over 5 months now, any help would be greatly welcomed and appreciated. Thanks so much for any ideas or help, you guys have a great community here, I hope I can contribute to it.
