It's best to edit with WAVs.

But be sure to compress the audio to MP3 before you export or else your video will be uber big.

3 ways to answer this


if your asking what file the music you use in your amv should be while you edit, use an uncompressed WAV

if your asking what kind of sound compression you want in your source footage - why? your just gonna mute it anyways when you edit. save some space and balete that stream

if your asking what you want for the final compression of audio after you video is done, lamemp3
