Looking for a certain free program

I've been using WMM, and I was wondering if there's a free program out there that at least has the effect of video overlay, and doesn't have a watermark or is extremely slow?

Try Avid Free
I've never used it, but I've heard good things. You could also download the trial versions of Sony Vegas or Adobe Permiere
