God must hate me...

Every time I try to compress something in Vdub the video has a bright, flickering green line in the bottom right corner of the video. When I open it up in Vdub, there isn't anything wrong with the video, but when I watch it in a media player the line is there. It shows up every time without exception in WMP, Zoom, and Media Player Classic. I reinstalled Xvid, twice, two different builds. Still wont stop. I tried getting rid of FFDShow. Still wont stop. I gave up on XVID and went to try Divx 3. Divx 3 won't save the stats files at all, so I can't use it since I can't get past the FIRST PASS OF THE ENCODE! I tried Divx 5. It has the same problem Xvid does. I have no clue what's going on, and more importantly, how to make it stop.

what resolution?

It sounds like the kind of problem you could get if you are using resolutions that are not multiples of 16.

Well when an idiot is commenting on the irony of an idiot laughing at another idiots idiocy I can see why the irony would be so thick.
