For the second part of your post, do mean that you want to do a black silhouette of the character on a white background then have the character replace the silhouette at a later frame? I believe that in Photoshop you need to have the exported frame with the character in it. Then create a new layer and fill it with white, Edit\Fill then choose white. After that, make a selection around the character in the background image, making sure that you only have the body selected. Go to Selection\Save Selection and name it and click Okay. Select the White filled layer then Edit\Load Selection and pick the selection you named. The marching ants should appear and then you go to Edit\Fill and pick Black. A black silhouette of the character should be visible. Flatten the image and save it as a .PSD and import it into Premiere and place it in front of the frame where you want it to appear.
Hell is something that parents made up to scare kids, like the Boogie Man or........Micheal Jackson.
