As for, "Where to Start" it is best that we understand what Video is and then
go from there. Video is simply Pictures ( one frame at a time ) and that is also
the kinda of Editor you will need; something that can handle frame by frame.
One simple affect is called fading. Fading types are found in Transitions Area.
In order to fade from one picture to another, we need at least Two Lines of
Video to work with and this is possible in very few so called editors today:
Asymetrix - Digital Video Producer ( $30.00 )
Ulead - MediaStudio Pro ( $$$ )
IMSI - Coral Lumiere Suite ( $40.00 )
Adobe - Primiere ( $$$ )
MAGiX - Audio & Video Office ( $25.00 )
- the rest are just a little to bizzare to get into T_T
All of these Editors have one thing in common, they work with RAW footage!
(( this means, nothing pre-codec'd like Subbed Anime from the net ))
before you attempt to make an AMV, get some Video's and see what your Editor
can do before you ask any questions about affects/effects/codecs/ or audio.
- - these prices are quoted from E-bay and are not the retail prices.
Play around with a few clips and see what you can do; if after that you still
want to make an AMV, we'll be waiting ^^
