Ok Has this ever happend

I found out that only MPEG2 is screwing up my Windows Media Player for MEPEG2 AMVs when I play peoples AMV's it gets very choppy and displays another version of there AMV in the left hand corner of the screen very weird, Divx and Xvid mpeg 1 all play fine, and I don't know how to fix it, has this ever happend to any of you guys/gals

sounds like a DirectX issue ^^
