AE radial blur filter

Postby Wyverex » Tue Apr 29, 2003 2:55 pm

I'm having some troubles getting a clean radial blur effect under AE.
Look at what I get under Premiere or Photoshop : animeb14_radial1.jpg
and at what I get under AE : animeb14_radial2.jpg.

Where does that grain thing come from? Is there any way to wipe it out? I tried blurring the whole thing but it needs at least a 5 gaussian blur and that is too much for the sharp and intact part of the radial blur effect...

I know I can use the Photoshop / Premiere filter under AE but the "center" option (that able you to set the center on the monitor window itself) isn't available...

It's probably not the problem, but you do have the track set to be at full quality (the little slash mark on the timeline should be to the right [ / ] and not to the left [ \ ] IIRC), right?

Heheh thanks Ashyukun ^^. I thought the quality settings were only the "full / half / ..." things on the monitor.
