ok ladies... your friendly neighborhood spyderdan comes to you in hopes of being aided.

ive ripped over some vob files of Goldenboy...and now im at the point where i wish to make some AVS files.

now the thing here is...i made me my little .txt file...and put in

<b>DirectShowSource("D:\filelocation\yay.vob")</b>

and i saved it.

now, i have the convert plug in installed for premiere...and when i try and bring in the file, all i get is a blank screen.

now apparently, i did something wrong...the only question i want to know is...what.

any assistance will be greatly appreciated folks....

First, Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides Then, get AMVapp. Install that. Make a nice little text file, and put in these lines:

MPEG2Source("C:\yourfolder\yourfile.d2v") (Make sure they're no spaces.)

Rename this file to <somename>.avs

The d2v file is made using DVD2AVI and the process is explained in the guide linked to above. [/url]
There's a fine line between genius insanity...and I've crossed it 67 times.
