Cutting/Joining MPEG2

Postby Zarxrax » Thu Mar 27, 2003 5:21 pm

I want to submit a video to some contests but at the end of my video, I have my identification information, and the cons say they dont want that stuff on the videos. I'm unable to export my video again. How can I cut out that segment and replace it with a different piece? I just finished doing this on my AVI version, but I'm not sure how I would go about doing this to an MPEG2.

In all honesty it might be easier to just re-encode the mpeg2.

However, there are tools to help you.

Go to http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/Old_news/feb03.htm

and get MPEG2cut to cut out your sections.

Use TMPEGenc's mpeg tools (in the file menu) to mux them back together.

That might work.
