Well. You can get the trailer off Kazaa or you can use the method MAS PRODUCTIONS gave me

MAS wrote:1. I first go to the page where the trailer is located.
2. Next I right click and click on find source,
3. When the html comes up I search for the source file ei "trailer.mov"
4. After I copy the complete source file address, I open up a program that reads html and I create a hyperlink to that video file source.
5. Finally I just right click on the hyper link and save target as.

Then you can do what Wuwu told me to do.
Wuwu wrote:1. Open in TMPGEnc and save a project file
2. Use VFAPI on the TMPGEnc project file to make a fake .avi
3. Open in the fake .avi VirtualDub and get your audio

All I did for my trailer was bring it into Premiere, but I was told that doesn't work all the time.

And if I'm wrong on the second part someone tell me. I was told this at about 2 am today so I was tired and haven't actually done that way myself.

u can just open the vid in VirtualDub, located at doom9.org, and extract the wav audio from it. :)

once u have VDub, import ur vid and go to "File" - "Save WAV". then u can use that in Premiere..

there are times when the audio is copyright protected, in this case it can't be extracted from the mov file with any program that has been mentioned.

The only way I've found around this is with a program called Total Recorder, though the demo only allows up to 40 seconds of recording, you can easily find a serial crack for it. It'll recorder any audio playing on your computer, and can be saved in wav format, It's what I use on alot of occasions.

Oh believe me, I've found mov files where the audio and sometimes even the video can't be extracted, without having big ass green and pink squares (sound familiar?)....tis teh suck.

How difficult is it to look down the right hand side (the audio side) and find:

Video Files

and clicking it?

a trailer is:

1) a short film/video that introduces parts of a movie or production to the public.

2) a series of anime footage set to the audio of a real trailer/teaser of a movie or production.

2) A large transport vehicle hauled by a truck or tractor.

3) One that trails.

the types of trailers you'll find at animemusicvideos.org will be number 2.

You could always do what I did for the one I'm working on - buy the official DVD and rip the audio from that....or do the OTHER part of what I'm working on if the trailer isn't on the DVD - get the soundtrack and recreate it from the movie itself and the CD.

Yup, I'm a psycho.
