mp4 renders

how do you render final videos in mp4? i've just always used avi because that's what i knew and what i was content with but mp4 has obviously become more prominent over the past few years for final renders so i figured i'd ask now. i use sony vegas.

ZarxGUI, or x264 with L-SMASH if you're a man and not a lady. I'm encoding.

(Straight-up x264 works too, if you're okay with command line, but I gather most people here like GUIs :nose: )
