Concerned about Vista

I think it's more of my computer, and not 64-bit, but I can't even open the compression tab in VDubMod without it closing on me, and I have no idea why. But yeah, SOME 32-bit applications work fine, Vegas 6 is what I'm currently using and it's fine, but other programs like AE Cs3/4 don't work, so I'm forced to go back to AE Pro 7.

And you say most computer makers as in HP? You just bring it in to a place where they sell it and you'll get a free upgrade?

Yea, that's definitely just your computer. All that stuff works fine on Vista 64 bit.
