Just seeing his facial expression when his head was pulled out of the toilet was classic.

The video for "Best of Me" was EXTREMELY promising... but it was such a let down. It's funny and cool for about 20 seconds, and then loses it's appeal. Still the best song on the album, but ugh... coulda done so much more with the video.

Yeah, I was expecting a little more of a concept video but you get what you pay for....or something like that. But still a damn good song indeed.

Kenny does a pretty good job of getting the audiance riled. I'd say the starting line puts on some of the best shows I've ever seen.

Three recent favorites, in order, I guess...

Sigur Ros - Vidrar Vel Til Loftárasa

Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar

White Stripes - Fell In Love With A Girl

Many others too, but I'm not going to do a friggin' list that no one's going to read.

btw wasnt ther e a techno music group that actually had their entire video animated in anime? I know it was in the US but I forgot whe name of the group and song. Dmnait, Well I liked that one because it was an actual aniem music video. As in a music video made with anime.

Regarding that Daft Punk video, the one that got played on MTV a lot in the past year (can't recall the name of it but you all know which one I'm talking about), was that a real music video?

What I mean is, is the video actually an original creation, the scenes in it created just for the video, or did they come from some pre-existing anime? If they were original, was the whole video a knowing wink/nod to the AMV subculture that's pretty much based out of this site (fact is fact), or is it a parody of AMVs? I mean look at it. It's fun, but it's all a little cheesy.

Or, if the scenes in this video actually came from some anime that's already out there, and if so, was it made by a Daft Punk fan or by someone hired by the band who saw making an AMV as a cheap alternative to shooting a new video?

Just something I've always been curious about. I really don't know who's behind this video or what their motives were.
