"The Else" by They Might Be Giants.

About eight months ago. I don't get new music often, and I get new full albums even less often.

Also, there were some CDs that came with my music textbook this quarter, but maybe those don't count.

Nightwish - Dark Passion Play (Collector's Edition)

Got it under a week ago. The instrumental version of "The Poet and the Pendulum" is probably one of the greatest things I've ever heard. It was worth paying the extra for the collector's edition just for that. <3
... yea ...

Now the most recent purchase is The Future Sound of London - Accelerator. Awesome. You'd probably like it better if you had robot ears, though... :o

Awesome. :P Yeah, it was probably me. I don't know many other people who've even heard of Gordian Knot. Just Tono, who's sharing my avatar right now, and Otohiko.

Actually it was Tono who recommended them. Which is probably why I didn't end up posting in the thread at all. But don't feel bad, even I'm confused when I read his posts, thinking I wrote them up when I was really drunk or something. Then I check the names.

Heloise & The Savoir Fair - Trash, Rats and Microphones
Just saw them live last weekend and what a blast! That girl has a set of pipes.

The Magnetic Fields - Holiday
Love this man's voice.

Those Poor Bastards - The Plague
If Nick Cave did country, this is what it would sound like.
