I can't say exactly which song is best in rock. So many Rock starz so many good songs, difficult to compare 'em.

I'd have to say it would be "Run To The Hills" by Iron Maiden, all though they're considered to be Heavy Metal. But that's a classic allright, heck, all their stuff in the 80's are.

Of all time? Probably "Stairway to Heaven", but here are some others that are equally as awesome:
"Ziggy Stadust" by David Bowie
"Baba O' Riley" by The Who
Most songs by The Beatles
"Hotel California" by The Eagles

This is a sweet list: http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/b ... gsddd.html

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. (Majestic end solo)

Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden.

Fade To Black by Metallica (The last 2 minutes of that song still sends chills down my spine.)

Mr. Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne. (The middle and final solos are nothing short of breathtaking. It totally set the atmosphere for that song. Simply awesome.)

There's just... way too many awesome songs to pick just one.
