They were underground so maybe not too many people have heard of them yet. They're a great band and hopefully they won't become too commercial. One thing I hate is when great bands turn too commercial and start changing their style like other bands and rappers do (ie Ja Rule, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Nas, just to name a few rappers, Sum 41 is too pop me now, Blink 182 SUCKS, New Found Glory, Linkin Park got me to the point where I'm sick of hearing them, I used to like them until their songs got played out.)
Bands and rappers that I do listen to now consist of Senses Fail, Finch, TRUSTcompany(I like them, don't know about everyone else though), CKY, System of A Down, Obie Trice, DMX, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Kool G Rap, Mobb Deep, Eminem(his stuff gets really played out yet its good the first couple of times you hear it)
This whole thing happens with everything, it changes as it gets more popular. Squaresoft does this with Final Fantasy, sure they're good RPGs but it got rediculous with FF X, they just focused on graphics more than anything else, the story was alright I guess, Tidus, the main character was a whiny prick as the other characters weren't very likeable to me. The Sphere Grid is the dumbest leveling up idea since all your characters eventually become the same wheres the fun in that??? Squaresoft is too mainstream for a video game company its not even funny, hope no other RPG companies follow in their tracks.
I know I dragged the topic on too far but whether it comes to music or video games, it all gets to the point where they change everything yet you like the older music or games better. I bet there are a lot of Squaresoft fanboys around here that wanna flame me really bad.. go ahead I'm ready for it.
