Does it just have to be a song with a really high tempo, or does the melody also have to be fast-moving? And can you give us a BPM range?

I saw that title and was like *licks lips* and I started flicking through my collection... then to my horror and absolute dismay, "preferably techno"

I cried for an hour.

techno = bad (most of the time)
thrash metal = good

What about trance, jungle, synthpop, eurobeat...?

Not that trance and synthpop are particularly fast, of course. But all the jungle/DnB I've heard has been over about 160 BPM, and eurobeat loves to use really fast synthesizer riffs.

Speed metal and thrash metal are gonna give you the speed you need.

But if it's the true undeniably high BPMs that you desire, you have to find some speedcore. DJ Noisekick is one of the artists names I remember. Songs where the BPMs go into the 600-1000 range. :)

I'm gonna have to go with Aphex Twin. Their music is incredibly fast paced, almost ridiculously so at times, and they take advantage of very bizarre sounds in their music.

Then of course you can go for Extratone ... starts at the bare minimum of 1000 BPM and goes up... usually accompanied by a harsh noise component.

Well this song is fast but not very very very fast. It is indeed Techno but I'm afraid you'll have a very hard time finding many things that'll sync with the lyrics.

Song: Keep on Moving
Artist: Starstylers

This is a good song (but it's not Techno) to make an AMV with since their music actually has something other than "keep on moving." However, the song is long so you'll probably have to edit the audio also.

Song: Through the Fire and Flames
Artist: Dragonforce
"I like your sausage (even if they are super long)" -JaddziaDax
